How large will this World going to be ?
The world will span over 4 continents and contain around 50 quality maps.

What about the Interface ?
We have designed an appropriate minimalist display, not much to look at but designed for easy of play for selecting special attacks, items, and spells.

How about the Fightsystem ?
Players will unleash their offensive ability with the sole restraint of the “stamina bar”, a combined rage/mana/energy/whatever pool on which you will spend on attacks.
Executing a series of attacks will earn you “combo points” which are spent on finishing moves that do the most damage. There will be a variety of such moves that will be unlocked over the course of the game.

How will the Magicsystem work ?
Magic in RTM is divided into two types, Direct Damage and Area of Effect spells. Direct Damage spells will be aimed via the crosshair and the Area of Effect spells will have variable radii depending on the spell.
RTM’s magic are divided into 8 elements with each element containing a few spells.

Which weapons will be integrated ?
We plan to include a variety of balanced weapons.
We also plan to give an individual weapon to each character, which only he/she can use.

Will there be magic ?
The
eight elements will play a big part in Return to Mana.
Out of the eight elements, there will be several elemental spells useable
from each.

Do i need Half-life² to play Return to Mana ?
Yes,
Half-life² is needed, good side is - the total conversion will be
completly free to download.

What about the Systemrequirements ?
Minimum
are the same as Half-life²
As Return to Mana grows to be more complex, a rise in hardware requirements
may happen.

- we will develop a unique system for aimable weapons.

Yes
- HL² coop technology will be used for 3 player gameplay over internet
& lan.

Will Havok (HL²-Physicsengine) be integrated ?
Havok
will be a core part of Return to Mana to simulate a realistic, believable
world.
We will provide the players with different internet & lan speed options
for cooperative gameplay , so others can feel the ecakt same physical
aspects in the world.

How "real" are you gonna get ?
Return
to Mana should also appeal to more experienced/older players, that's why
we choose to set aside the comic -art in our graphical style, but neither
use phototextures to present a fantastic but believable worl to the player. |

What languages will Return to Mana support ?
There
are two versions planned: English and German.
A japanese version will be possible, but is not confirmed.

When will the game be released?
This
will be the largest project of this kind ever created, so an exact release
date cannot be confirmed at this time.
